Brandon Wildung – Mercyhurst
Freshman; Goaltender; Nassau, Minn.Wildung stopped 27 of 28 AIC shots in Friday’s 3-1 win and
relieved senior starter Jimmy Sarjeant midway in Saturday’s
5-2 victory and turned aside all 17 shots he faced to record his
second win of the weekend…collectively, he stopped 44 of 45
shots in the two games.

Rookie of the Week

Andrew McDonald – Bentley
Freshman; Forward; New Brighton, Minn.

McDonald had three goals to help Bentley sweep Holy Cross over
the weekend. He had two goals in Friday’s come from behind
4-3 victory, as the Falcons rallied from deficits of 2-0 and 3-1.
He scored the team’s first two goals of the night in the
second period. One night later he netted a shorthanded goal, giving
Bentley a 2-1 lead at the end of the first period that they would
not relinquish.
