1979: Al MacAdam scored two goals and an assist and Bobby Smith added three assists to lead the Minnesota North Stars to a 5-3 win against the Red Wings, at Detroit.
1985: Los Angeles Kings obtained winger Bryan ‘Butsy’ Erickson from Washington, in exchange for Bruce Shoebottom.
1993: Jimmy Waite made 30 saves in his first appearance with the Sharks, in a 2-1 win over the Anaheim Mighty Ducks. Tom Pederson scored the winner at 1:47 of overtime, in the Sharks first road victory of the 1993-94 season.
2002: Rookie Tyler Arnason tied the game at 19:25 of the third, and Phil Housley scored a power-play goal at 1:35 of overtime to give the Blackhawks a 2-1 win over the visiting Los Angeles Kings.
2002: Sergei Zholtok scored his second goal of the game with 9.1 seconds remaining in overtime as the Wild won 2-1 over the visiting San Jose Sharks.
2002: Montreal Canadiens obtained Sylvain Blouin from the Minnesota Wild, in exchange for a 7th round draft pick in 2003.
