Our Best Photos of 2014 – A Year in Review

As we review 2014, we went back into the archives and found some great images from our staff of photographers, led by our lead photographer Jeff Wegge.  Please enjoy some of our best images from 2014  as we covered the state of hockey.

From the classic hockey venues we visited,

In January, Elk River hosts Hockey Day Minnesota

 and saying good bye to the historic Coliseum,

Our story begins with coaching.

We start the games with the drop of the puck.

With more coaching,

                                      As the teams compete with  all the battles on the ice.

                The teams move the puck to get  the shot,

only to see some great saves,

with some shots that find the back of the net.

We follow that with the post goal celebration,

As we capture  the incredible joy  of celebrating a championship with the team.

And see the agony of defeat,

As we end, hoisting the championship trophy,

and taking  the team photo capturing the championship season.  We had the best seat in the house, and were just glad to be there, as 2014 was a great year for Minnesota hockey.
