1941: Former NHL defenseman Wayne Muloin born in Toronto, Ont. Muloin played in the NHL 1963-64 through 1970-71 with Detroit, Oakland and the Minnesota North Stars.
1943: Former NHL center Gary Dineen born in Montreal, Que. Dineen played in the NHL 1968-69 with the Minnesota North Stars.
