Rick started as a sports photojournalist WCCO-TV in 1981, covering the North Stars, Vikings, Twins, Gophers, and more. Assignments include the Stanley Cup Finals, World Series, and NFC Championship games. Rick still loves playing hockey and shooting hockey is his favorite sport to cover. He shot and edited the year-end highlight videos for the North Stars and Chicago Blackhawks for years before being hired by the North Stars to work in the Sales & Marketing department shortly before their 1991 Stanley Cup run.
