Couple big movers this week. Prior Lake knocks off OMG to clip the Birds from #2 to take their spot. White Bear Lake rips off three big win this past weekend to enter the top-10 – they’ve won 8 of their last 10.

Shakopee dropped a few games this week, opening the door for Hopkins to be at the top. The new No. 1 Royals are on a heater with thirteen consecutive wins. Northern Lakes had two wins over previous No. 1 Shakopee this past week- the Lightning have been awarded with the No. 4 ranking. Moorhead defeated previous No. 3 Warroad in a 1-0 OT win. The Spuds jumped two spots to No. 6.

No. 1 Mahtomedi strengthened their resume this past week with a win over previous No. 6 Lakeville North. Woodbury Black takes a huge leap this week from No. 10 to No. 5.. The Predators defeated previous No. 7 White Bear Lake Black 5-2. Bemidji Blue won the Moorhead tournament this weekend, the Lumberjacks are rewarded with the No. 6 spot in the top ten. Roseville has only lost two games all year; the Raiders are back in the top 10 after winning three games up north this weekend.

A somewhat uneventful week for AA. Moorhead makes a visit to the cities and goes 3-1, with lone loss to OMG. Stillwater skates to a tie with the Leafbirds and avenges a Lumberjack semi shootout loss to White Bear.

Brainerd hags on to #10, despite a loss to Hermantown. Other teams on the outside of 10 haven’t done enough to earn T10 status.

Warroad shows the state why they are No. 1 in the state. The Warriors dominated the Paul Broten Roseau tournament this weekend, outscoring opponents an outstanding 86-9 in five games. Bloomington Jefferson had the upset of the week, as the Jags defeated previous No. 2 Proctor 4-3 this week to win their home tournament. Thief River Falls is 9-1 against PWA teams this season, the Prowlers replace Mankato in the rankings this week.

The No. 2 East Metro Stars headed south this weekend and brought home some hardware, winning the Albert Lea tournament. Bemidji Blue is the biggest riser at the PWB level. The Lumberjacks rose from No. 6 to No. 3 as they defeated previous No. 4 East Grand Forks Green by a score of 5-1. Hermantown was unranked last week, now this week they have the No. 7 spot, after a huge tournament win in Two Harbors.

Woodbury Royal shoots to the top with an impressive run at the EP tourney last weekend. Their high-paced play and tight defense will make them a tough team to beat all year. Orono wins the Breezy Point tournament…the Spartans beat four teams to grab some out of town hardware.

Moorhead Black is up to the No. 2 slot in SQB; so far the Spuds are dominating the level and are outscoring opponents 157-11. Minnetonka Black is new in the rankings this week and debut at No. 9, as the Skippers won the Eden Prairie tournament this weekend. The SQB top ten had a great week as a collective, as no team dropped a game.
