Not much movement this week. Top-ranked Moorhead had the weekend off and No. 2 OMG won two Lake Conference games over Minnetonka and Wayzata. Centennial went 3-1 last week and maintains their iffy T10 status at #10.
#6 Prior Lake gets a crucial win over #5 Edina in district play, those two flip-flop in this week’s rankings.

Hopkins and Mankato both jump up to rank No. 3 and No. 4. One huge result this week was that Mankato defeated previously ranked No. 3 Woodbury 4-2. No. 1 Warroad took care of business this week against a solid test in No. 9 Moorhead. The Sabres upset previously ranked No. 10 Minnetonka, with a 3-1 win. Shako closes the rankings out this week at No. 10.

Previously ranked Eden Prairie dropped two games this past week, opening the doors up for a few teams to move up. One of those teams is Red Lake Falls Purple, which is currently ranked at the No. 5 spot. Warroad enters back into the ranking at No. 6 this week, after defeating previously ranked No. 8 Bemidji Blue. Farmington is back in the rankings as well, after the Tigers defeated previously ranked No. 4 Eden Prairie this week.

Some hot action in Woodbury this weekend for the John Erickson memorial. Four of the state’s top-5 teams showed up to battle for the last invitational tourney of the season.
Stillwater won the first of the year (Big Pumpkin) and they win the last with decisive wins over Moorhead and Woodbury to go 5-0 on the weekend to move to #2 in the state.

The Roseville Raiders are on a 6-game win streak, and take over the No. 1 spot in the PWA rankings. Warroad jumps from No. 4 to No. 2 this week, as the Warriors get to a solid milestone of 30 wins on the season. No. 10 Mankato picked up a solid win this week against previous No. 3 Northfield to help cement them in the top 10 for the time being.

Minnetonka Blue moves up one spot to No. 4 after a key victory over intra-city foe and previously ranked No. 4 Minnetonka Black. No. 8 Coon Rapids is up a couple of spots this week, after a huge win over previously ranked No. 7 Anoka. East Metro is having a very solid year and had a rough stretch in January. The Stars have now rattled off six straight and are back in the rankings at No. 8.
