Tim is the award-winning editor/writer/photographer for The Breakdown, the encyclopedia of Minnesota high school sports, which publishes 200+ page season preview guides on volleyball, boys and girls basketball and most notably, boys hockey. Tim's covered and played hockey much of his life, including five years of coverage on the MN Hockey Hub and other outlets. Prior to joining The Breakdown, Tim was a sports reporter for the Record-Journal, a daily newspaper in Meriden, Conn. at which he followed the New Britain Rock Cats (the Twins' Double-A farm team) and UConn women's basketball and football. He has also worked for a weekly newspaper in Buffalo, Minn., at which he won awards for sports photography and as a three-time winner of the Minnesota Newspaper Association's Best Sports Reporting award among large weekly newspapers. Been called different, weird, quirky, flaky, unique, strange, crazy. And that is just what people have said about me to my face. I am a hockey goaltender so all the adjectives seem appropriate. Born & raised in NY, adopted son of the state of Minnesota. Amateur source citer.

When he is not writing his MHM column Dave is the weekend sports anchor and reporter at KARE 11 in Minneapolis; he is also an avid hockey fan. Dave played a variety of sports growing up but hockey held a special spot in his heart.

He played junior hockey in Elmira, New York until he realized that it wasn’t going to be a way for him to make a living. So journalism took over and he began calling games at his school Hobart and Williams Smith colleges. He also wrote for the school newspaper and hosted a weekly radio show. Following HWS he received his Masters in broadcast journalism from the S.I. Newhouse school at Syracuse University.

After stops at KAWE in Bemidji and KTAL in Shreveport, Louisiana, Dave is thrilled to call Minnesota home.

Jayson Hron is the founder, researcher and author of Historically Inclined, a blog which explores and celebrates the way it was, one story at a time.

The primary focus is sports history with a sprinkling of outdoor life, architecture, military history and vintage Americana. Occasionally, Historically Inclined may also host an opinion piece or a glimpse into the present, usually within the context of how things used to be better – at least in the world of sports.

Hron is also a member of the Society for International Hockey Research, serving currently as editor-in-chief of its annual Research Journal.

By day, and often by night as well, he works as USA Hockey's manager of youth hockey communications.

Jessica Christopherson is from Coon Rapids, Minnesota. She was a three sport athlete in high school and went on to play soccer and hockey at the University of Saint Thomas, where she received a B.A. In Sociology. She was a four year assistant coach at UST and is currently the Head Coach (3rd season) at Coon Rapids High School, where she was named Section 5 Coach of the Year in 2011. She recently completed her USA Hockey Level 5 Coaching Certification and was also named as a coach on the SportsUnited / USA Hockey Trip to Russia in October 2012.
