Our first rankings are anything but rock solid. After the top two teams (Moorhead and OMG), there has been a lot of parity so far. The Spirit of Duluth will feature several T-10 teams and help firm up our rankings next Monday. Rosemount and Prior Lake have showed well in the season’s first two big tournaments.

Bantam A

District 3 looks to be very strong at the top of the rankings to start the season; Osseo Maple Grove just lost their first game to Hopkins. No. 7 Rock Ridge won the Burnsville Thanksgiving Classic over the weekend. Warroad is a team primed to shoot up in the rankings over the next few weeks, just very few data points so far.

Northfield had a huge week, winning the Burnsville Thanksgiving Classic; they are ranked at No. 4. Warroad looks to be the team to beat so far, with only one loss to a ‘AA’ team. Roseville has a very nice resume to start the year and look like early contenders.

Peewee B

1. Elk River 10 WWW
2. Minnetonka (Black) 6 WWW
3. East Metro 8 WWW
4. Minnetonka (Blue) 6 W

Teams at this level have similar records and the picture will become more clear each and every week. No. 1 Elk River is 11-0 and is outscoring opponents 58-14 so far. East Grand Forks (Green) looks dangerous so far to start the season as the Green Wave are undefeated.
